Arrogant, noobish 'mall' owners in the virtual...
Just very recently, I managed to bump into (actually, he bumped into me!) an arrogant, noobish mall owner in ‘Second Life’. Calling himself “Makavelius Udimo”, owner of the ‘Red Tiger Club/Mall’ in a simulater called ‘Golden Business Area’. He has nothing to do except walk around, accusing innocent people of being a bot in an area clearly...

VirtualBox 2.1.0 by Innotek/Sun Microsystems
Innotek/Sun’s VirtualBox 2.1.0 (free Virtualization for personal use) now has experimental OpenGL support, with flaky results. Supports Win2k/XP/Vista guests only. More info here, here, and here.

MySpace / Facebook propagated virus posing as an...
A virus is circulating both MySpace and Facebook social networking sites, masquerading as a harmless YouTube video. More details here (Kaspersky Lab). If a video site asks you to download an update, reject the download immediately. Visit the software maker’s website for possible updates instead.

Commenting is now allowed on the (tum)blog via the commenting service tumblr recomments: Disqus. It’s T&C is a little vague in some areas - I might choose another commenting service if necessary.
